Tancho is a Filipino-Canadian who spent 25 years in Canada prior to moving back to the Philippines in 2014. During his time in Canada, he had a successful career in accounting software sales which included managing the Sage Business Vision product line of one of the world’s largest accounting software companies, Sage. In 2014, he accepted the position of Executive Director of Hope for the Nations Philippines and returned home with a burden to serve the poor of his country. Tancho holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Silliman University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He holds a master’s degree in Cross-Cultural Studies from the Canadian Theological Seminary and has just gone through the extensive 3-month training on Organic Agriculture Production under the National Certification (NC II) program of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Tancho is a visionary and will lead the Hectares of Hope management team. He will also be directly involved in the sales and marketing functions for Hectares of Hope.
