Rose Gabriel

community development coordinator

Rose has been working with Hope for the Nations Philippines since 2007. She is an experienced social work and community development worker with a big heart for the poor, having experienced what it’s like to grow in extreme poverty and belong to a broken and abusive family. Being a product of the organization’s ministry herself, she worked with the organization as a full-time employee and served the slum community in Agdao, Davao City. Rose has also worked with several other organizations and agencies such as the Department of Social Welfare and Development and Well of Life Community Development Inc.

Rose is passionate about sharing God’s love and grace with the community while faithfully working with the families under the organization’s Scholarship and Community Development programs. It is her ultimate goal to help the poor see the resources that are literally under their feet, assist them in harnessing their God-given potential and abilities, and empower them to leverage on their community assets to help them succeed.
