Nelson is an ‘agriculturalist by experience’ and has worked with pineapple and cacao plantations throughout his 35 years in business. He is the Founder and Chairman of the largest farming co-operative in Davao City called FARDECO and Chairman of Municipal Agriculture and Fishery Council. He also holds memberships in Highly Urbanized City Agriculture and Fisheries Council and the Provincial Agrarian Reform Committee (Davao). Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and will actively advise the management team on matters related to farm operations and product marketing and sales. Nelson lives in Calinan, Davao City with his wife and is active in his church as a lay Pastor.

The MAFC is the advisory and monitoring body of the Department of Agriculture (DA). Meetings are held to tackle issues and concerns of the agriculture and fishery agenda happening within the area of responsibility of the municipality.
member, Provincial Agrarian Reform Coordinating Committee (PARCCOM) – Davao
PARCOM coordinates and monitors the implementation of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) in the province. It provides the guidelines for a province-by-province implementation of the CARP.
