Euney is the Managing and Founding partner of Mata-Perez, Tamayo & Francisco. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Philippine bar. She is currently the president of Asia Oceania Tax Consultants’ Association (www.aotca.org), and the first Filipina and first female country representative to be elected to the position. She is also the past President of the Tax Management Association of the Philippines (TMAP), the leading association of tax practitioners. Euney brings a rich 25-year experience in tax, transactions, corporate reorganizations and other corporate matters, but also a keen business insight enabling her to identify and help resolve the issues that shape business needs. Euney will advise Hectares of Hope on corporate and legal matters. Euney is married and lives in Manila.

president, asia oceania tax consultants’ association (AOTCA)

The AOTCA is an umbrella organization that embraces 20 national organisations from 17 Asia-Oceanic states and within them over 400,000 tax advisers. It was founded in Tokyo in 1992 and aims to promote the further development of the national laws governing the profession, to exchange information about national tax and professional laws and the development of the tax and professional law in Asia and Oceania, to maintain relations with the authorities at national and international levels, and most of all to bring to those authorities the experience of practitioners of all areas of taxation and of professional law.

President, Tax Mapping Association of the Philippines (TMAP)

TMAP was established primarily to professionalize tax practice and provide a channel by which the private sector may actively participate in the drafting of tax laws, rules and regulations. With over 100 members who belong to the top 1,000 corporations in the country, the association has been instrumental in the development and promotion of reforms in the country’s tax laws and in tax administration by actively participating in public hearings and submitting position papers in connection with the passage of revenue laws, rules and regulations.
