Benjie brings a great balance of management and practical farming experience to his role as Farm Coordinator. He has been with Hope for the Nations Philippines since 2003 in various positions including Project Manager and Livelihood Officer. In 2018, Benjie built the test farm in preparation for Hectares of Hope. In 2019, he completed Natural Farming Training (TMFI – Tribal Mission Foundation International) and received his Organic Agriculture Production National Certificate II from TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority). Benjie also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Accounting. He is passionate about farming and helping those who are willing to learn and be trained in Agriculture and Sustainable Livelihood.

This national competency certificate covers skills for the production of organic farm products such as chicken and vegetables including producing of organic supplements such as fertilizer, concoctions and extracts. It has two (2) elective competencies which are on raising organic hogs and raising organic small ruminants.
